In order to ensure food production and food security, carried out in Liaoning province in 2011 "Ten million mu of water-saving irrigation project", using drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation in corn production, such as tube filling water saving technology. Based on water saving agriculture in Liaoning province division, on the basis of current corn main application of water-saving irrigation technology in Liaoning province by applicability and application effects of the study. First of all, according to the clustering analysis method combined with "inductive similarity, difference between difference, take care of administrative boundary" partition principle with the characteristics of Liaoning regional index will be partition water-saving agriculture in Liaoning province. Secondly on the basis of water saving agricultural zoning, selection of representative test areas, set the effect of drip irrigation (FM), not drip irrigation (WM), the effect of traditional natural irrigation (CK) three irrigation methods, experimental study in corn water-saving irrigation methods suitability. At last, by analysis of variance and principal component analysis (pea) analysis of different irrigation methods on corn growth index, quality index and output index, the effect of water saving irrigation mode of each partition is appropriate in Liaoning province. The main results were as follows:(1) By using the combined method of factor analysis and cluster analysis, according to the climate characteristics, water level, agricultural planting structure, the types of irrigation area, the form five indicators, the water-saving agriculture in Liaoning province is divided into six regions.Ⅰarea to low mountain hills water resources in western Liaoning, drought index greater than 1.2, the shortage of water index is less than 0.3, belongs to the serious water shortage area;Ⅱarea of northern Liaoning undulating plain sandstorm, drought index at around 0.8, water shortage index is 0.5-0.6;Ⅲarea for Liaohe plain, in central Liaoning drought index is 0.75-0.75, the shortage of water index is 0.75-0.9; IV area of Liaohe delta lowland plain waterlogging area, around 0.75 drought index, water shortage index is 1.0-1.2; V mountain area of eastern Liaoning, the drought index between 0.4-0.5, water shortage index is 1.2, relatively humid climate, agriculture available is rich in water resource; VI area for Liaoning peninsula in southern hillside area, around 0.9 drought index, water shortage index is between 0.6-0.7, belongs to semi-humid oceanic climate.(2) Low mountain hills water resources in western Liaoning, the effect of drip irrigation, no film drip irrigation compared with the traditional natural irrigation, maize plant height increased by 9% and 4.7% respectively, leaf area index increased by 14% and 14% respectively. Quality indicators, protein content increased by 27.8% and 19% respectively, starch content is negatively related to the crop root water, reduced by 1% and 1% respectively, there was no significant difference in between the three kinds of fat. Yield increased significantly, the yield increased by 15.3% and 8%, respectively. Principal component analysis results show that the effect of drip irrigation in I area is beneficial to plant growth, yield and protein content increased significantly, is the appropriate way of water-saving irrigation.(3) The undulating plain sandstorm in northern Liaoning, effect of drip irrigation, no film drip irrigation compared with the traditional natural irrigation, maize plant height increased by 8% and 5% respectively, leaf area index increased by 7% and 7% respectively. Quality indicators, protein content increased by 29% and 22% respectively, starch content is negatively related to the crop root water, reduced by 1.4% and 0.8%, and there was no significant difference in between the three kinds of fat. Yield increased significantly, but the effect of drip irrigation with no significant differences between film drip irrigation, the yield increased by 10.1% and 9.1%, respectively. Principal component analysis results show that theⅡarea both water-saving irrigation methods are conducive to the improvement of plant growth, protein content and yield, but no significant difference effect of drip irrigation and no film drip irrigation. So more economic and environmental protection of drip irrigation is suitable for application in the film.(4) In central Liaoning Liaohe plain, the effect of drip irrigation, no film drip irrigation compared with the traditional natural irrigation, effect of drip irrigation in play a role in each index decreases, and corn plant height increased by 2.8% and 6.6% respectively, leaf area index increased by 6% and 6% respectively. Quality index, the effect of drip irrigation in protein decreased by 2% and no film drip irrigation increased by 8.9%, the starch content effect of drip irrigation increased by 0.5% 0.6% less, no film drip irrigation, the adipose content is no significant difference between the groups. The index of output, yield increased by 5.6% and 9.5% respectively. Through the analysis of the results can be seen that the role of the effect of drip irrigation is less than no film drip irrigation, drip irrigation in Ⅲ area without membrane processing the best quality, most productive, more suitable for application in the area.(5) The eastern Liaoning mountain area, the effect of drip irrigation in the worst effects of the indicators, the effect of drip irrigation, no film drip irrigation compared with the traditional natural irrigation, maize plant height effect of drip irrigation decreased by 5% and no film drip irrigation increased by 3.1 %, leaf area index effect of drip irrigation decreased by 6.9 %, there is no film drip irrigation increased by 3 %. Quality index, the effect of drip irrigation in protein decreased by 8.6% and no film drip irrigation increased by 9.4%, small differences in starch content decreased by 0.09% and 1.1% respectively, the adipose content is no significant difference between the groups. Production index changes, the effect of drip irrigation yield decreased by 6%, without film drip irrigation yield 2.4%. Through the analysis of the results can be seen that effect of drip irrigation in V area inhibit the growth of crops, to reduce the production, no film drip irrigation and the indicators of the differences between the traditional natural irrigation was not significant. Effect of drip irrigation and no film drip two water-saving irrigation measures in the partition is not suitable for large area promotion.
