WMC loci were mapped on the genetic map of SSR, grade of premature senescence, grade of grain fulling and 6 physiological traits which related to senscence were measured and their QTLs were mapped using the recombinant inbred lines(RILs) of wheat The main results were as follows:(1) 80 new WMC loci of 57 prime pairs were mapped on the genetic map with 86 SSR loci, 44 EST-SSR loci, 74 ISSR loci, and 3 HMW-GS loci. The 80 loci were located on 18 chromosomes, 1A, 1B, 1D, 2A, 2B, 2D, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B, 5D, 6A, 6B, 7A, 7B and 7D. A genetic linkage map which included 287 loci was carried out.(2) For 80 loci, 11 were located on the D genome, 32 on the A genome and 37 on the B genome. The number of loci on the D genome was significant lower than that on the A and B genome. The loci was not located on chromosomes 3D, 4D and 6D. The different number of loci was also showed in homologous groups, which the most was group 1 with 22 loci and the least was group 3 and 6 with 6 loci only.(3) Total 10 QTLs of premature senescence were detected. 3 QTLs were detected for grade of premature senescence, its total contribution rate was 40.12%. 1 QTL on 2A chromosome was detected for grain fulling, its contribution rate was 7.43%. The QTL of Chlorophyll(CHL) content was firstly mapped at chromosome 5D in wheat, its contribution rate was 27.4%. 2 QTLs of peroxide(POD) activity were firstly mapped at chromosome 1A and 3A in wheat. 1 QTL on 4A chromosome was detected for catalase(CAT) activity firstly in wheat, its contribution rate was 18.44%. 2 QTLs of malondialdehyde(MDA) content were firstly mapped at chromosome 3A and 3B in wheat.(4) QTLs linkage was tested between catalase activity and grade of premature senescence at chromosome 4A. These indicated that there were close relations between them. Besides, at 3A chromosome, QTLs linkage was also detected between peroxide activity and malondialdehyde content. And the linkage relation was costly.
