Studies On Productive Situation And Developmental Strategies Of Rapeseed In Changxing County Of Zhejiang Province

Rape, as one of four most important oil crops of the world, plays very important role in social economic development and people's daily life. The regular planting area of rapeseed was around 23,333 ha in Changxing county of Zhejiang province. With the developing of society and increasing of people's living standard, the demands for rapeseed yield and quality are also continuous increasing. So, our objectives we are seeking are how to breed new high quality rapeseed variety to adapt to local soil and climate conditions and how to develop new rapeseed production technology to realize high yield, good quality and high benefit based on status quo of rapeseed production.In this paper, the status quos of applied variety and production technology and of rapeseed market were expatiated and the problems, future market and trends of rapeseed production of Changxing county were analyzed. Furthermore, the strategies of development of, rapeseed production were put forward. Based on analysis of present status and problems in rapeseed production of Changxing county, the applied varieties suited to Changxing environment and matching production technologies of high yield and high benefit for "two-low" rape variety were put forward. Huyou 15, Zheshuang 72 and etc. were suitable for planting and extension in Changxing county. It was suggested that in extension of high yield and quality "two low" rape variety, it was necessary to adopt the technologies such as good quality with high yielding, high yielding by rapid growth in both winter and spring seasons, direct sown with zero tillage and direct sown and machinery harvest for increasing income of rape planters. Meanwhile, it is also necessary to explore new usages such as use part fresh stem as vegetable within rapeseed production, deepen integrative uses of rapeseed and so on for increasing comprehensive benefits and stabilizing rapeseed production, and to organize buy and sale service agency for strengthening market competitive ability of rape planter.
