This dissertation points out the scientific and reasonable application of garden trees is the useful method and important norm to improve the level of urban forest ecological construction under the background of the construction of China forest eco-network system. To the experimental city of Harbin, after analyzing the former materials of trees' and the actual exploration, the fact is that the kinds of trees are monotonous and lack of the scientific configuration and this influences the ecological effects of trees. So making the systemic and scientific evaluation of trees, doing the detailed quantity research according to the different indexes and parameters, putting the designing and planning on the basis of scientific, reasonable and efficient consideration, all of these are the necessary and useful method to make the environment better. This dissertation does the research from the ecological effects, the ecological compatibility and the landscape effects. After browsing through the relevant researches in and out of China, it makes that setting up the synthetic indexes evaluation system which can conduct the construction of Harbin forest eco-network system and doing the evaluation and adjustment to trees' index in different aspects using certain percentage importance according different environmental requirements in order to make the choice of trees fit the requirements of specific environment as its research aim.In the process of the trees' evaluation, it uses the LAI-2000 apparatus to measure the leaf's area index and at the same time the area of the trees' crown and multiplication of the both can be look as the vegetation quantity of trees. In the 15 kinds of trees to be mcasured Sambucus williamsii Hance, Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge var.major N.E.Br., Lonicera maackii (Rupr.) Maxim, and Sorbus pohuashanensis (Hance) Hedl. are good trees and Rhamnus davurica Pall., Rosa xanthina Lindl., Lespedeza bicolor Turcz., Amorpha fruticosa L. are good shrubs from the index of vegetation quantity.It uses the DLY-2S air ion measurement apparatus and the ruler and height measurement apparatus to measure the quantity of air negative ion in the pure forestry of Pinus tabulaeformis, Quercus mongolica, Juglans mandshurica, Larix gmelini.lt uses Licor-6400 portable photosynthesis analyzer to measure the quantity of the 36 kinds of trees' nitrogen fixation and oxygen release and transpired water and absorbed calorie unit leaf dimension in May, July and September that represent respectively the three seasons of spring, summer and autumn. And according the data materials it has distinguished the relative stronger, strong and poor tree species in high trees, low trees and shrubs.1. In high tree species, Prunus armeniaca L., Malus bacctata (Linn.) Borkh., Gleditsia japonica Miq., Pterocarya stenoptera C. DC. are stronger and Phellodendron amurense Rupr., Fraxinus mandshurica Rupr., Crataegus pinnatifida Bge., Catalpa ovata G Don., Pyrus ussuriensis Maxim., Prunus padus Linn, are strong. And Salix matsudana Koidz., Quercus mongolica Fisch., Tilia amurensis Rupr. and Acer mono Maxim, are relatively poor.2. In low tree species, Ulmus pumila L. cv. Pendula, Caragana arborescens Lam., Sambucus williamsii Hance, Rhus typhina Linn., Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. are stronger and Euonymus maackii Rupr., Syringa reticulata (Bl.) Hara var.mandshurica are strong. Sorbus pohuashanensis (Hance) Hedl. and Prunus salicina Lindl. are poor.3. In shrub species, Rosa xanthina Lindl., Caragana ussuriensis (Rgl.) Pojark., Spiraea salicifolia Linn, are stronger. Cornus alba Linn., Weigela florida (Bge.) DC, Berberis amurensis Rupr. and Sorbaria sorbifolia (L.) A.Br, are strong. Prunus tomentosa Thunb., Viburnum sargenti Koehne., Philadelphia schrenkii Rupr., Rhamnus davurica Pall., Deutzia amurensis (Regel) Airy-Shaw, Amorpha fruticosa L. are relatively poor.4. The quantity of nitrogen fixation and oxygen release unit leaf dimension of low tree species is the highest and the high tree species and shrubs follow in the three months.5. The quantity of nitrogen fixation and oxygen release of most tree species rises firstly and then descend. This illustrates the fact the photosynthesis of trees is strong in July.At the same time the dissertation quotes the result of the leaf's absorption ability of 30 kinds of tree species in the main streets of Harbin to Pb, Cd, Cr, Hg and the result of dust absorption of 28 kinds of tree species used frequently researched by others.The dissertation has considered the differences in the ecological compatibility of different kinds of tree species, and it studies trees' gesture feature and the changes of seasons with the help of pictures, summarizes the historic and cultural meanings of parts of tree species to highlight the trees' culture feature and sums up the dates of trees' feature changes of seasons. On the basis of evaluation indexes and collected dates, the dissertation makes the research about the adjustment of trees' application in Harbin. It points out the way to trees' adjustment and illustrates the specific process taking the example of a specific environment.
