The experiment was designed to study the effect of dietary protein and dietary electrolyte balance(DEB) on acid-base balance and production of cage-rearing ducks in teach period. In this experiment, the 240 ,5-week- age Jin-ding ducks were assigned to ten groups randomly with six replicates of four ducks. Each group was fed with the crude protein(CP) contents of 16%, 19% and DEB contents of-50,150,250,350,500mmol/kg respectively in 11.7MJ/kg metabolize energy . taking 2×5 factorial arrangement, feeding and metabolic trial and analyze serum biochemical indexes were conducted. The results of feeding experiment showed that the body weight gain hadn't significant difference (P>0.05) except CP16%,DEB-50mmol/kg was lowest in 5-9 week-age stages. The feed intake of one day of group of CP16%,DEB500mmol/kg was highest,CP16%,DEB-50mmol/kg group was lowest. Feed conversion ratio hasn't significant difference(P>0.05),but total tendency was that DEB150,250mmol/kg is low. The two factorial anova showed that the interaction of CP and DEB had no significant effect on the body weight gain, feed intake of one day , feed conversion ratio(PX).05). The body weight gain, feed intake of one day of CP19% was higher than CP16%,but feed conversion ratio is lower. The body weight gain of DEB250mmol/kg was highest, DEB-50mmo/kg was lowest. With DEB increase, feed conversion ratio increase. Feed conversion ratio of DEB 250mmol/kg was lowest. The results of metabolic experiment showed that CP utilization efficiency had significant difference(P<0.05),CP16%,DEB 500mmol/kg group is highest;CP19%,DEB250mmol/kg is lowest. Utilization efficiency of Ca, P, K, Cu, Mn of CP16%.DEB500mmol/kg group is highest. Utilization efficiency of Na, Mg of CP19%,DEB250mmol/kg group is lowest. The two factorial anova showed thatutilization efficiency of crud protein and mineral of CP19% group is lower than CP16% group. The results of blood showed that pH of CP16%,DEB-50mmol/kg group is significant lower than other group.CO2 concentration of CP16%,DEB150mmol/kg group is lowest, CP19%, DEB1 50mmol/kg group is highest. HCO3- concentration of CP16%,DEB-50mmol/kg group lowest, CP 19%,DEB-50mmol/kg group is highest. Osmotic pressure of CP16%,DEB-50mmol/kg group is highest, CP19%,DEB150mmol/kg group is lowest. The two factorial anova showed that interaction of CP and DEB had significant greatly effect on serum PH, HCO3- , CO2, OSM(P<0.01), but no significant effect on AG(P>0.05).The results of serum biochemical indexes showed that interaction of CP and DEB had significant greatly effect on Na, K, Cl, CRE concentration(P<0.01) ,but had no significant on Ca,P, Mg, Urea nitrogen. Glucose, Cholesterol, TG (P>0.05) .CP had no significant effect on Na, K, CK Mg, Ca concentration of CP 19% was significant higher than CP 16%,P concentration of CP 16% was significant higher than CP19%.CP had significant effect on total cholesterol(P<0.05), group of CP16% was significant higher than CP19%. With DEB increase ,CRE concentration increase and DEB500mmol/kg is highest.
