| Six wild bushes that appear good trait during introduction and domestication were chosen for the experimental materials: Elaeagnus bockii Diels, Berberis julianae Schmid, Hypericum patulum Thumb ,Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde ,Rosa roxburghii Trau, Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li. the water status, osmotic adjustment, membrane lipid permeability , content of chlorophyll and Photosynthesis were studies under the different content of soil water by artificial water controlled in pot. The drought-resistance ability of the six bushes were concluded through carrying out the correlation analysis and fuzzy function analysis according to the date acquired and combining observation. The results indicate:1, Under water stress, the soil water content of the six wild bushes were gradually decreasing. Compared with the check(CK)which irrigated normally, the soil water content of 35th day of the experimental trees decreased 71.45%-87.02% . The trend of the decrease were not significantly different.2, The water content in leaf and the leaf water-holding appeared positive correlation ((P<0.01))with water stress. The water content in leaf on the 35th day decrease 24.95%, 13.15%, 10.35%, 12.16%, 36.31%, 11.21% compared with the CK, the leaf water-holding on the 35th day decrease 11.11%, 18%, 33.33%, 5.71%, 20.37%, 3.77% compared with the CK.On the later of stress, the RWD and ARWD obviously increase, and were arranged: Berberis julianae Schneid>Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li>Elaeagnus bockii Diels> Rosa roxburghii Trau> Hypericum patulum Thumb> Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde.3, The changes of activity of pro have a trend of first increase and following decrease. According to the time and content for activity of pro of reaching peak, Thedrought-resistance ability was : Berberis julianae Schneid> Elaeagnus bockii Diels> Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde> Rosa roxburghii Trau> Hypericum patulum Thumb> Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li. Content of soluble carbohyarate increased constantly under drought stress, compared with the CK the increase was: Berberis julianae Schneid> Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li> Elaeagnus bockii Diels> Rosa roxburghii Trau> Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde> Hypericum patulum Thumb.4 > Relative electricity conductivity and the content of MDA increased along with theincrement of water stress. The size of increase of relative electricity conductivity from higher to lower, was Berberis julianae Schneid(98.63%)> Elaeagnus bockii Diels(135.55%)> Hypericum patulum Thumb(220.96%))> Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li(252.86%)> Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde(274.17%) > Rosa roxburghii Trau(309.88%). The size of increase of MDA from higher to lower, was Berberis julianae Schneid(25%)> Rosa roxburghii Trau(33.33%)> Hypericum patulum Thumb(63.54%p> Mahonia fortunei(Bind) Fedde(64.71%)> Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li(65.18%)>Elaeagnus bockiiDiels(66.67%).5 â– > The chlorophyll content was descend with drought deepen. The range of change ofthe content of chlorophyll was: Elaeagnus bockii Diels > Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde > Berberis julianae Schneid > Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li > Rosa roxburghii Trau > Hypericum patulum Thumb.6> The daily changes of photosynthesis rate and transpiration rate decreased greatly, and appeared " bimodal curve " under water stress.. The range of change of the content of Pn was: Hypericum patulum Thumb< Rosa roxburghii Trau< Berberis julianae Schneid< Pyracantha fortuneana (Maxim) Li< Elaeagnus bockii Diels< Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde. The range of change of the content of Tr was: Hypericum patulum Thumb< Rosa roxburghii Trau Elaeagnus bockii Diels> Pyracantha fortuneana(Maxim) Li> Mahonia fortunei(Bindl) Fedde> Rosa roxburghii Trau> Hypericum patulumThumb. By the correlation analysis, it can be believed that the effect of each index to the drought resistance ability differed among different trees, and the drought resistance ability was controlled by multi-factors.8, Discussion on application of wild bushes which have strong ability of tolerance to drought application. It is stressed to introduce the application on the expressway green areas > urban-rural ecotone and various kind of green areas in the city. |
