With the development of agricultural technique, precision seeder are used widely . It is urgently needed to assure the high velocity and high precision when sowing the aperture trays. Auto detecting and controlling system can inspect the quality of seeding real-time in the course of seeding. Electromagnetic-sucking seeder is a new-fashioned one which uses electromagnetic theory to suck and sow seeds. Aiming at the working characteristic of Electromagnetic-sucking seeder, the detecting method of image manipulation and controlling system by single-chip computer are studied in the paper, it can examine working-instance when sowing and adjust working parameter real time. The working parameter which influencing the precision of the Electromagnetic-sucking seeder studied firstly in the paper such as, working currency and sucking seed altitude and velocity of the seeding structure , and the project of detecting system is put forwarded; According to the figure of seeds, morphologic image manipulation is used to pick up the character of the seeds and judge the instance of sucking by the gray of image, calculate the precision of seeder in a period of time, it includes single rate, missing rate, overlap rate. According to the result controlling system of seeder adjust automatically such as velocity and sucking seed altitude, working current etc. In the design of controlling system, and the communication between single-chip and computer can send the result of precision of seeding to the single-chip. The experiments show that the system can detect the missing rate is 100%, single rate is more than 95% , and the system works as expected reliably and exactly .
