This experiment studied some key technics of maize stalk fermertation which ferment in insulated and humid foamed box in the condition of percent moisture content sets at 60% with maize stalk as crude material,chicken dejection, carbamide,(NH4)2SO4 as nitrogen source, EM as exogenous microbial inoculum..We mainly studied effects of different kinds of nitrogen source, C/N value and EM concentration on fermenting temperature; studied the chemical and physical characters of different nitrogen source and its various settings during maize stalk fermenting; we also studied the effects of compound substrates mixing substrate which is fermented in different kinds of nitrogen source with roseite in the ratio of 6:4(volume) on morphological and physiological character of tomato seeding. The results shows that, various concentration of EM have no apparent effects on temperature of maize stalk, and have fineness effects on on MT and RT; different kinds of nitrogenous fertilizer have noteable effects on fermenting temperature, A1 treatment reaches the highest temperature on MT and AT which is 614 ℃ and 34.11℃; different C/N values have positive correlation with stack temperature and accumulated temperature, C1 treatment' s MT and AT get to 712 ℃ and 35.96℃ ,but its has a distinguishing nitrogen loss; viewed from continuance of megathermal period,Al treatment sustains relative long and its fermenting temperature is relative higher.Viewed from variable physical and chemical rules of different recipes , the stack temperature sharply rises then slightly drops to room temperature ; EC value continuous rises to 2-4ms.cm-l ;firstly pH value of slightly drops then rises to slightly alkalescence; final volume of straw stack continuous descending to 60% of begin volume ; water-content coefficient firstly drops then rises and finally higher than begin original water-content coefficient; GI value gradually rises,GI value of partial treatment exceeds 1 ;C/N value continuous drops, the greater part treatments declined below 20 after stack retting 20d.Fermentation improve its physical structure of maize stalk substrate in addition, and also increase the concentration of total nitrogen, P2O5, K2O of various treatment,Tl,T4 have relatively abundant nutrient content thereinto.During the process of raising tomato seeding, there has a distinct difference in various treatment. T4 treatment behaves best of all during 18-36d, its plant height, stock thickness, Fresh and dry weight overground, Fresh and dry weight underground is the best of all; but T3 treatment is the best of all during 36-48d. Viewed from physical characters of tomato seeding, various characters of T3and T4 behave quite fine, they have no distinct differences with CK(Vpeat: V roseite =2: 1).And the Content of chlorophyl, soluable sugar, root system vigor of T3,T4 treatment is the relative fine in all treatments, it has no distinct difference with CK. Viewed from substrate producing , mixed nitrogenous T4 and T3 treatments need less time while reaching well-rotted, and the compound substrates basing on fermenting substrates can supplied the needs of tomato seeding sowing ,so during the process of maize stalk substrate producing we should adopt chicken dejection nitrogen and inorganic mixed nitrogen as nitrogen source, the suitable ration of chicken dejection nitrogen (w) and inorganic mixed nitrogen is 1:3(w), inorganic mixed nitrogen= carbamide (w): (NH4)2SO4(w)=1:1.
