Abstract/Summary:
This study research the effect of nano copper on performance, carcass composition, blood biochemical parameters and immunity organs in cherry valley meat duck and research the mechanism. 600 one-day-old cherry valley meat ducks were randomly divided into four groups with 3 replicates per treatment, 50 birds per replicate (50% males, 50% femals). Four treatment as follows : basic diet(D1 group), basic diet + 50mg/kg aureomycin +20mg/kg sulfanilamide dimethyl pyrimidine(D2 group), basic diet +52mg/kg nano copper(S1 group), basic diet +52mg/kg nano copper+500mg/kg saccharic-terpenin (S2 group).The raise experiment lasting 35 days. At the end of experiment, 72 birds were taken and killed (18 birds per treatment , 50% males,50%femals), samples were taken. Weigh the heart, liver, kidney, stomach and pancreas; Weigh thymus, spleen and bursa of fabricius; Liver, kidney and muscle were taken to measure the residue amount of SM2 and CTC with HPLC method; Eviscerated yield with giblet weight, eviscerated yield weight, breast muscle weight, leg muscle weight, abdomen fat weight, fat in muscle score and subcutaneous fat score; Blood were taken to make serum to measure GPT, GOT, ALP activity, crude protein, albumin, uric acid, cholesterol, calcium, phosphor and triglyceride content in serum. Raise experiment results showed that: Death of meat ducks of S1 group decreased by 88.9 percent and 80.0 percent respectively compared with D1 group and D2 group; Death of meat duck of S2 group decreased by 55.8 percent and 20.5 percent respectively compared with D1 group and D2 group. Nano copper increased the daily weight gain and daily feed consumption, decreased feed: gain compared with antibiotics, but it was not significant; Nano copper added saccharic-terpenin decreased daily weight gain, daily feed consumption and feed : gain compared with antibiotics, but it was not significant. Carcass measurements results showed that: Nano copper increased significantly percentage of dressed weight, eviscerated yield with giblet, eviscerated yield, while nano copper added saccharic-terpenin did not affect significantly. Nano copper increased significantly percentage of breast muscle yield and leg muscle yield, decreased significantly abdominal fat percentage, fat content in muscle score and subcutaneous fat score compared with D1 and D2 group. Nano copper added saccharic-terpenin decreased percentage of breast muscle yield and leg muscle yield, increased abdominal fat percentage and fat content in muscle score compared with antibiotics.
