In order to study the curative effect and mechanism of Chinese medicine, some research works were conducted. 1. The curative effect of Chinese medicine was observed. Haline White chickens, being clinical healthy, were randomly divided into 6 groups, 20 for each group. The control group, the infection group of the control, antibiotic group(olaquindox: 35ppm) and "GUBEN"groups(0.5ml/d/chicken, 0.75ml/d/chicken, 1.0ml/d/chicken). The growth performance is analyzed in 10d when drug were addictive; After Chinese Herb Additive was given 10 days, E.coli O2 was injected into the chest of the fowl. The death rates of the fowl were analyzed in 8d. The results showed: Adding drug had no significant effect on growth performance of laying hen (P>0.05), but Chinese medicine group(1.0ml/d/chicken) improved clearly body weight of laying hen; at the same time, the result proved Chinese medicine played a direct role in controlling the Colibacillosis in the fowl, the survival rate of "GUBEN"groups(0.5ml/d/chicken, 0.75ml/d/chicken, 1.0ml/d/chicken) is 5%,20%,10% after artificial infection. The group of Chinese medicine(0.75ml/d/chicken) is higher than antibiotic group and the control group after infection in survival rate. It showed also that the Chinese medicine was fit to use in clinic dose of 0.75ml/d/chicken. 2. The stability of the curative effect of Chinese medicine was observed. Broiler, being clinical healthy, were randomly divided into 5 groups, 30 for each group. The control group, the infection group of the control, antibiotic group(olaquindox: 35ppm) and "GUBEN"groups(0.75ml/d/chicken, 1.0ml/d/chicken). The growth performance is analyzed in 10d when drug were fed; After Chinese Herb Additive was given 10 days, E.coli O2 was injected into...
