The advance in the research of germplasm resource, genetic breeding technique, new variety breeding of cbbage in the past 50 years in China were reviewed. The problem and the strategy of this aspect are discussed.Sensory and nutrient quality of 19 cabbage materials were studied. The result shows that the sensory quality of the 19 cabbage materials are all suit to the breeding request. The hybrid partner "916 "HAN YU 5 HAO" are excellent with higher Vitamin C which more than 0.41 mg/g.FW and lower Glucosiolate contents which less than 0.7000 mg/g.FW. A0-1 TM-1 FA-2 SM-1 RN-1 are lower Glucosinolate materials with the contents less than 0.7000 mg/g.FW; TM-1 17 HAO, A0-2 are higher Vitamin C materials with the contents more than 0.350 mg/g.FW. Correlations of nutrient quality were studied, the main results are as follow: Soluble Sugar and Fibrin, Dry Matter and Soluble Sugar Glucosinolate Organic Acid had positive or prominent positive correlation.Qiangli65 is a F1 hybrid of the self-incompatible(SI) line 65-1 and the SI line 65-2. Both lines are with high diseases resistance, good qualities and high combining ability. The hybrid is medium-early maturing, from planting to harvesting is about 70 days or so. It has many excellent charaters, such as resistance to TuMV, Br, CMV and quality charaters. Its central axis is 6.5cm high, compactness is 0.57, petiole leaf ratio is 26.5%, leaf is crisp and sweet, containing 2.976g/kg of Soluble protein, 30.08g/kg of soluble sugar and 0.339g/kg of Vitamine C. The average yiely is 64320.0kg/hm2, 15.1% higher than check variety JinFen No.1. |
