The foreign large-scale sugarcane harvester does not adapt to the upland, sloping field and irregular sugarcane planting of our country. However, the mechanization of the domestic mini-type sugarcane harvester is low and there is no series of mature product coming out. Aiming at such status quo of the sugarcane harvester, the paper brings forward designing a harvester with the idiographic terrain and the physical character of the sugarcane in our country. Kinematics and dynamics virtual simulation and experimental validating are the emphasis of the paper.1. Computing the working velocity of the sugarcane harvester based on the planting, harvesting method of the sugarcane and theproductivity of the harvester. At the same time, to ensure the expedited flow, the paper recalculated the moving parameters of all the assemblies upon the former knowledge.2. The paper divided the whole mechanism into five assemblies according to the transfer of the movement. After the virtual simulation of the assembly is fit for the fact, the assemblies aremerged into the whole mechanism used the tools of the ADAMS.3. Turn the sugarcane into flexible body according to its physical character and study the dynamic characteristic of the mini-type sugarcane harvester with the flexible sugarcane's model. And compare the simulation result between flexible and the rigid sugarcane model.4. Regard the torsion of the cutter and the incised quality as the target of the experiment and search the relation between the target and the factors, which include working velocity, cutter rotate speed, the pitch angle of the cutter and so on. The paper also validated the simulation conclusion by the experiment.In conclusion, the paper studied the kinematics and dynamics simulation of the whole sugarcane harvester combining with the physical characteristic of the sugarcane in detail. The paper validated the simulation conclusion by the experiment and gained some parameters, structures and analyzed method, which are valuable to the manufacture and volume-produce of the physical prototype.
