Automatic manufacturing based on computer have been widely used in chemical and medicine, but it is relative behindhand in feed processing. After 'the ninth five years plan' and 'the tenth five years plan' science and technology researching, manufacture process control automation and computer manufacture management have come true and it increased the mill's automation level. But applying computer in feed processing mainly solves feed manufacturing automation problems and for improving the feed's quality and variety it does not make full use. Above most feed mills' status, much information of locale only is recorded and can't be analyzed and processed in time. The questions only can be investigated, analyzed and processed after they have occurred, so the accidents can not be controlled at their beginnings, which bring waste to the mills. The factors that influence feed's quality have uncertain, and it is difficult to model the uncertain nonlinear object for traditional modeling, but the neural network can achieve nonlinear mapping of the system's input and output, so we can use it to study the intelligent control model of mathematics in feed pelleting system.Based on artificial neural network theory and pellet feed processing technics, this paper models with BP neural network. The model's structure is three layers. Based on experiment and analysis we choose conditioning temperature, conditioning moisture, feeding speed, protein content as input factors and pellet feed hardness and as output factors of the network.To achieve the BP network model, it is necessary to grasp the computer programming language and higher programming abilities, which disadvantage in the neural network's spreading and using. But there is a Neural Network Toolbox in Matlab, which provides much advantage in solving that difficulty. After briefly introducing the basic principle and algorithm of the neural network, this paper introduces thoroughly how to model the BP neural network, training, and simulate by Neural Network Toolbox in Matlab and sets up intelligent control model of mathematics in feed pelleting system.
