Our country is a traditional large agricultural country. Agriculture development has a series of limitation, such as overpopulation, limited soil and water, low science and technology level farm produce . In order to solve these, we should develop modern agriculture, namely agricultural industrialization, plant scale and informational. Facility agriculture which use greenhouse as representative is one aspect of modern agricultural development field . Thereinto environment Control is a important aspect of greenhouse plant.Greenhouse environment control technology has a rapid development in recently 50 years. Developed countries had owned very advanced equipments and means in control environment. Environment factor such as illumination, temperature, humidity, atmosphere were be all real time control. But their equipments mainly depend on waste large quantity of energy. Furthermore their control emphases is not match our continental climate. Because of developed countries has mighty economic power and enough energy, our country is a developing one, foreign equipments do not all fit the situation of our country. It's necessary to develop low cost and good quality greenhouse environment control system at home.This paper puts forward a method of control greenhouse environment based fuzzy control system. And realize it from hardware and software.The control system consists of one PC as Upper computer, one 8031 SCM with appropriate periphery circuit and memorizer unit as lower computer. On distribution of systemic function, upper computer and lower computer can parallel work, it increases the dependability of the system .PC has RS232 serial interface commonly. But it has any" shortcoming: short distance of data transmission, slow speed, feeble anti-jamming. Compare it, RS485 serial interface is reverse. So this system adopt the RS485 serial interface. It must recur to convertor circuit to convert RS232 and RS485 signal voltage to realize communications between upper and lower computer.Software is center of control system. It contains two parts: upper computer software and lower computer software. The former adopts VB6.0, windows98 as operation platform. The latter adopts assembly language. Lower computer software is composed of some submodel: self-examine andinitializtion model, LCD display model, data transmission/receiving halt serve program model, data sampling disposal model. Upper computer software is composed of these: communications model, database managing model, parameter setting model, data real time detecting model.Greenhouse environment is a inertia , nonlinear, complex system with many variable. It's very hard to establish mathematic model and control with traditional control method. Fuzzy control does not need to establish mathematic model of under controlled object. It has strong robust and good adaptability. So this system adopt fuzzy control arithmetic.Base of MATLAB6. 1, adopt SIMULINK Toolbox and Fuzzy Logic Toolbox, design and emulate the fuzzy control system of greenhouse environment, provide a simulink method of fuzzy control system.
