| Flue-cured tobacco is the main tobacco type, as well as the staple field crop in Fujian. Longyan, Sanraing and Nanping, in the north-west of Fujian, are the three tobacco production areas, and it is also a raw material base of high quality cigarette of our country.Cultural technology significantly affects the yield and quality of tobacco leaf. The cultural technology has limited development of the flue-cured tobacco production for- a long time, which affected the yield and quality of tobacco leaf. Through on the research and improved cultural technology for these years. The yield and quality of tobacco leaf were improved. Since China jointed into WTO, the competition between China and other countries is becoming much stronger. Tobacco industry requires much higher grade structure and quality standard of tobacco leaf. The flue-cured tobacco production of Fujian confronts new severe challenge in the new periods.Based on the review of Fujian flue-cured tobacco cultural history, according to investigation and research, the current Fujian flue-cured tobacco cultural technology were analysed, which including: 1. Stage object. 2. Quality standard of tobacco leaf. 3.Culture variety. 4.Soil condition. 5. Seedling quality. 6. Applying fertilizer level. 7.Topping. 8. Harvesting stage. Based on the above analysis, some key issue which influenced the yield and quality of Fujian flue-cured tobacco leaf were summarized.On the basis of the problem, combining the development of Fujian flue-cured tobacco production in the new'period, the systems of Fujian flue-cured tobacco cultural technology were suggested. They are: 1. Oriented by market demands, outline the system of flue-cured tobacco leaf quality. 2. Based on the progress of technology, improve integrated system of culture technology. 3. Based on the sustainable development, build up secure guarantee system of flue-cured tobacco production. |
