Based on the experiment with the high-quality brown rice as its main material, produced by Japanaca, which is called "Nongda 305" , it has been investigated that parameter like soaking time, soaking temperature, germination time, and germination temperature, has had a certain influence on the germination rate of brown rice. The absorbability of brown rice is related to the time and temperature in the process of soaking. The growth rate of its radicle is also related to the time and temperature in the process of germinating. By perpendicular experiments, the optimum germination conditions can be controlled, which are listed as follows:1 The soaking temperature and time are closely associated with the germination rate of brown rice. When the soaking temperature reaches as high as 20℃, brown rice will have its highest germination rate, if soaked for as long as 28 hours. When the soaking temperature reaches 25-30℃, it will have the highest germination rate, when soaked for 24 hours. If the temperature can be as high as 35℃, it will have its highest when soaked for 16 hours. But of all the soaking temperature tested, soaked at a temperature of 30℃ for 24 hours or so, the germination rate will be the highest.2 Germination temperature and time are also related to germination rate of brown rice. When germination temperature reaches 20℃, it will have the highest germination rate, if germinating for 32 hours. When germination temperature reaches 25℃, it will have its highest, if germinating for 24 hours. When germination temperature can be as high as 35℃, it will reach its highest, if germinating for 24 hours. But of all the germination temperature and time, germinating at a temperature of 30℃ for 24 hours, the germination rate will be the highest, and the buds have almostthe same length.3 Germination temperature and time are related to radicle growth rate of brown rice. The higher the temperature is, the faster the radicle will grow, and the higher the radicle growth rate will be. If germination temperature is below 30℃, the growth rate of radicle will be lower , and the time of radicle presence will be longer.4 According to perpendicular experiments, the optimum germination conditions are: soaking temperature 30 ℃ , soaking time 20 hours, germination temperature 30℃, germination time 24 hours.5 By using technological parameters, brown rice has a germination rate higher than 85% and are rich in gamma-aminobutyric acid. The average content of gamma-aminobutyric in brown rice products is more than 560mg per lOOg. Moreover, the characteristics of brown rice products are easily evaporating and boiling, easily absorbing, and rich in nitrition.
