Three feeding trail were conducted to evaluate the effect of feed different sources of selenium, from Na2SeO3 Se-Yeast and Se-Met on growth performance, economic efficiency, quality of chicken and to provide the basic datum of selenium nutrition for broilers.600 one-day-old avine broilers were divided randomly into one control group and three dietary treatments: 0.1mg/kg 0.2mg/kg , 0.3mg/kg selenium from Na2SeO3 Se-Yeast and Se-Met. Each treatment has three repeats, each repeat has 60 avine broilers. The feeding experiment was conducted with avine broilers at the age from 0-week to 6-week-old.The results showed:1. Broilers fed 0.2mg/kg 0.3mg/kg selenium from Na2SeO3 not only had lower F/G of 0-6 week broilers (P<0.05) but also greater AG (P<0.05) and 0.3mg/kg selenium from Na2SeO3 had lower F/G of 4-6 week broilers than control group. It showed that 0.2mg/kg selenium from Na2SeO3 was the best selection for feeding 0-6 week broilers. 2.Broilers fed 0.1mg/kgN 0.2mg/kg 0.3mg/kg selenium from Se-Yeast did not have greater effect on AG and F/G of 0-6 week broilers (P> 0.05) except 0.3mg/kg selenium from Se-Yeast could greatly increasethe AG of 4-6 week broilers(P<0.05). It showed that 0.3mg/kg selenium from Se-Yeast was the better selection for feeding 4-6 week broilers.3. Broilers fed 0.1mg/kg 0.2mg/kg 0.3mg/kg selenium from Se-Met did not have greater effect on AG and F/G of 0-6 week broilers (P>0.05) except 0.2mg/kg selenium from Se-Met could greatly decrease the F/G of 4-6 week broilers(P<0.05 = ). It showed that 0.2mg/kg selenium from Se-Met was the suitable selection for feeding 4-6 week broilers.4. 0.1mg/kg, 0.2mg/kg, 0.3mg/kg selenium from Na2SeO3, 0.2mg/kg 0.3mg/kg selenium from Se-Yeas , 0.2mg/kg selenium from Se-Met could obtain better economic efficiency than control group.5. Selenium from Se-Yeast and Se-Met was better for increasing the quality of chicken.
