This study is based on 9 imported line self-line and 10 Yugoslavia maize hybrid strain. Through tests and determination for 10 Yugoslavia heterosis crossing 10 progeny selection line of heterosis , and 14(478 x imported line )combining ,and 8(zpl08 x domestic ) progeny selection line of combining with domestic main self-line in different dominance, it has gotten 4 groups with 211 test-cross combining . By the analysis of these combining ability and heterosis , we got the maize characters of Yugoslavia germplasm and approach direct and indirect usefull value of Yugoslavia maize germplasm .Test Result Showed :l.The repeated tests for three years showed :Ten imported Yugoslavia heterosis in maize production of Heilongjiang province have little value directly . Yet, it was found by test that part of heterosis has with potential and indirect useful value in spike length character (e.g. more 27.49% than CK).2. For further researching genetic potency of Yugoslavia germplasm , GCA(general combining ability )and SCA(special combining ability ) of progeny selection line for 10 good heterosis have been analysed . All of the results showed special significant differences , such as : SCA of Heinanza 9901-2 - 1- l,Heinanza - 9905 -1-1-1 have already reached significant and special significant level which it can produce higher frequency of high dominance combination . Heinanza 9901-2-1 x Gai 3 , x Heixuan 374, Heinanza 9910 - 2-1-1 x Gai3, x Heixuan 87- 1, Heinanza 9905-1-3-1 x S478 x Heixuan 87-1, Heinanza 9905 -1-1-1 x Gai3 were all together 7 groups , in which single yields were special significant higher than CK 6.31%-27.11%.3. Nine Yugoslavia self-line were divided into 5 groups , in which Hinanzi 9909 became a single type himself , and had much more differences with other self-line genetics . It can belong to Reid types clearly , which direct combination has with the largest useful value . Heinanzi9909 x S22 Heinanzi 9909 x 3-2 increased production for 41.56% and 9.32% than CK special significant . Other combining ability of self-line and heterosis expression showed more comprehension , and germplasm relationship with all kinds of types self-linein our country is difficult to determinate . 4.Maize Self-line of Yugoslavia has with indirect useful value .In 22(478 x imported line ) and ( ZP108 x domestic line ) good progeny selection line , five GCA (general combining ability) of selection line were just as positive value of significant and special significant with higher useful value of direct combination . In 88 test-cross seeds , yields of 21 single plant was significant or special significant, which is higher than CK 3.85%-33.28%.
