This article aims to explore the potential factors resulting in selective uptake and deposition of carotrenoids by animals by effects of diet VA and faU free choiic acid, fatty acid, lutein on P CDIOX activity. In the first experiment, through the time dependent curve to decide the incubation time of P CDIOX, and through the concentration dependent curve to decide the Km of P CDIOX. Results showed: the best incubation time is 60, and the Km is 2.66WV1.In the feed experiment, the animals were divided into 5 groups, controK No-VA, High-VA, Stearic acid(2%) and Soybean oil(2%). Results showed: 1) The level of plasma and liver VA of No-VA group is lower than the other four groups. 2) Intestinal P CDIOX activity of No-VA group is significant higher than the control's, and the liver's is higher than control's. Intestinal P CDIOX activity of High-VA is lower than the control's, and the liver's is higher than the control's, but all not significant. 3) Intestinal and liver P CDIOX activity of Soybean oil(2%) group is not significant higher than the contriol's. 4) Intestinal P CDIOX actvity of stearic acid group(2%) is not significant lower than the control's, and the liver's is not significant higher than the control's.The effect of free choiic acid on 3 CDIOX activity: 1) when the concentration of cholytaurine sodium (CLS) is 4mM or 8mM, the P CDIOX activity is significant higher than the control's. 2) The effect of CLS and choiic acid on P CDIOX activity is similar, and the effect of deoxycholic acid on P CDIOX is higher than the orther's, but the difference is not significant. The effect of free fatty acid on P CDIOX activity: 1) When the concentration of oleic acid is 5mM, the P CDIOX activity is significant higher than the controls's. 2) The palmitic acid and stearic acid has no effect on P CDIOX. 3) The effect of linoleic acid and linolenic acid on P CDIOX is higher than the control's, but lower than the oleic acid's.The effect of lutein on P CDIOX activity: PC:Lutein is 6:0, 6:2, 6:4, 6:6, 0:6 (μM: μM) . Results showed: with the increase of lutein, the P CDIOX activity decrease and lutein's P CDIOX activity is very low.
