Ice nucleation active bacteria are one of important factors causing and increasing plant frost and freezing injury. 24 strains of ice nucleation active bacteria (INA) were isolated from 120 samples of 42 species of plant in spring and autumn of 2002 in Xinjiang. Classified as 4 category: Pseudomonas, Erwinia, Xanthomonas and Clavibacter. Of the 24 INA bacteria strains , about 29.1% belong to Pseudomonas, 25% belong to Eriwina, 29.1% belong to Xanthomonas and 16.7% Clavibacter. Among them , 4 G+strains belong to Clavibacter, is first registered in INA research. SDS-PAGE electrophoresis analysis shows that the intension of ice nuclei activity is related to that of protein of ice nucleation active bacteria. Because INA bacteria is easy to lose its ice nuclei activity, we study on inducement of ice nuclei activity with a method of double temperature cultivation. When INA bacteria grow at anaphase of logarithm growth under low temperature on 18℃and 5℃, INA bacteria could have been furbished its ice nuclei activity , and ice nuclei activity attained tiptop. In lab, we have screened 4 strains availability microorganism: A4,A9,A17, A19 , and 4 chemical medicament and one bio-medicament. The experiment of low temperature treat with cotton seedling, proves that INA bacteria could aggravated the damage to cotton on the condition of low temperature, when cotton seed emerges 2-3days with 3℃-10℃...
