| Four experiment were conducted in the present study to investigate the effects of ginger stem silage on the antibacterial ability and the antioxidational action in vitro and the development of intestine, the bacteria of intestine, the lipid peroxidation,the immunity function and growing performance of broilers.In exp.1,the nutritive value of the fresh and silage ginger stem were analyzed; the extraction of the fresh and silage ginger stem were prepared and their antibacterial ability and antioxidational action were studied. The results indicated that the content of CP,CEE and GE in the fresh ginger stem were a little higher than the ginger stem silage. Not only the silage but the fresh extraction could significantly suppress the growth of the escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and salmonella, but the effect of them on the bifidobacterium and lactobacilli was not very obviously. Futhermore, the results also showed the ability of the silage extraction was better than the fresh one, and the optimum extraction was to concentrate the silage extraction to 10%. Both the silage and fresh extraction could give a marked effect on the antioxidational action of animal fats, but the ability of the silage extraction was relatively better.In exp.2,180 one-day AA broilers were randomly assigned to each of the 6 dietary groups, that were blank control group,1.0%EGS group, PGS groups (0.5%,1.0% and 1.5%PGS respectively) and antibiotics control group (15mg /Kg zinc bacitracin),every group had 3 replications. The experiment lasted 21 days. At 7d, 14d and 21d of age, two birds in each replication were killed for the microscopic section making of duodenum, jejunum and ileum and the cultivation of the bacteria in ileum, cecum and rectum. The results indicated that EGS and PGS can significantly influence the height of villous and the depth of intestine gland in duodenum, jejunum and ileum, especially the group of 1.0%EGS and 1.0%PGS. The results also showed the treatments by EGSand PGS are beneficial to the normal flora in the content of ileum and cecum, 1.0%EGS or 1.0%PGS are more useful.In exp.3, 150 one-day AA broilers were randomly divided into 5 groups, every group had 3 replications. The treatments include 0.5%,1.0%,1.5%PGS, 1.0%EGS, and the blank control group. At 7d, 14d and 21d, the ability of SOD and the content of MDA of the blood serum, liver homogenate and heart homogenate were determined. The results showed that the treatment by 1.0%EGS and 1.0%PGS can significantly advance the ability of SOD and significantly reduce the content of MDA of the broiler chickens. To compare 1.0%EGS group and 1.0%PGS group, there were a trend that in the early days the action of EGS was better than PGS, but in the later period PGS was better.In exp.4, 216 one-day AA broilers were assigned to 4 dietary treatments randomly, every treatment had 3 replications. The blank control group were fed based diet and the antibiotics control group added with 15mg/Kg zinc bacitracin, the experimental diet include 1.0%EGS and 1.0%PGS. At 7d and 28d,all of the birds were vaccinated with NDV-â…£.At 14d, 21d, 28d, 35d and 42d,the antibody titer were determined. At 7d, 14d, 21d and 28d, the relative weight (%BW) of thymus, bursa and spleen were estimated. Meanwhile, all of the above organs were made the microscopic section respectively. At 49d, the butchering performance and the pH, tender degree and water loss rate of the breast and leg meat were determined. From 1d to 49d,the body weight gain and feed intake of each replication were recorded weekly. The results indicated that 1.0%EGS and 1.0%PGS could promote the development of immune organs. In the experimental stage, the feed:gain of 1.0%EGS group,1.0%PGS group and the antibiotics control group had no significant difference (p>0.05),but they were all significantly lower than the blank control group (p<0.05).EGS and PGS had little influence on the performance of butcher, only the total eviscerating rate of 1.0%EGS group significantly higher than the blank control group (p<0.05).There we... |
