| This study is to monitor the effect of cinventional inactivated vaccines by indirect ELISA which is faster,more susceptable and more distinctive, and todrawapicturewiththeELISA levels, then to supply scientific theorical basis for drawing up an immunity programme for pseudorabies disease.After immuniting young cows and young goats with three different inactivated vaccines which are self-made oil emulsion assistant inactivated vacci nes. Al (OH)-i assistant inactivated vaccine and pseudorabies virus gene-defected inactivated vaccine which is from Hua Zhong agricultural University for cont rol.The serum samples from goats are monitored wi th ELISA. The serum samples from young cows are monitored with neutralization experiment and are compared with goats antibody level which monitored with the same method.The result showed that (1) After the first immunition, the antibody level increases for a littlerange and preserves for short period. After the second immunition, the antibody level increases for alarge range and preserves for four months. (2)oil emulsion assistant inactivated vaccine is better than A1(OH)3 assistant vaccine, and self-made inactivated vaccine is better than gene-defected inactivated vaccine. (3)The contrast of the antibody level of goats and cows shows that they have the similar regulerity. So, when drawing up immunity programme for cows or goats pseudorabies, the immunity of two times with 3-4 weeks interval is better than once and two times with 45 days interval. The effective antibody level can be preserved for half an year. And gene-defected oil emulsion assistant vaccine is better than gene-defected oil emulsion assistnt. vaccine,Indirect ELISA is s impler, faster,more susceptable and more distinctive than other antibody monitoring methods.lt is suitable to large amount of samples. It is one of the chief methods which monitor the antibody of large group, investigate antibody states and drawing up immunity programmes.
