In the lgu of the low fruit and high emPtynut rato during the cultivation of economicwoods, and with the method of the field exPerimental investigatinn combined with theexPerimellt in the greenroom, SyStCmatc study was canied out on the phenology of the natveand introduced haZSls in their fiorescence. At the same time, on the basis of analyzing theinfluence of the growth modulators on the hal's fiorescence phenology and fruiting Stae aswell as the haZeinu's plumpness and quality promOting techniques of haZel's blossom andfruit wer studied and put forward through physical treatInent say artificial pollination, andchemica tI'eatment such as GA, 6-BA and bo elemeot of B.Results show:(1)The hol's mai flowers bloom earlier than the female, and the male'sfiorescence is l2 days earier than the tae's. The male blossom of the 4 introduced breedsin the greenroom is 3ed day earief, and the female' the is less differen, With theirinfiorescence phenology dynamics comPared with the outer. The growth modlators' infiuenceon the male's and female' blossom hme is nOt Of obvious lew and ouly sPeCific ndellts ofvery few breeds show the advance and delay of fiorescence. Obvious differences esiSt in thebeginnin and Peak of the male inflorescence's length grOwth of the inner and oUte 4Afed breeds, W's more, the length gnwth is in eccord with the male liifloreScenebloom. In the view of total growth, eaCh treatInent combination can accelerate the grOwth ofleaves to some atnt and it shOws tha the atnt combinaion of low denSity or dOse cannOtably PrOmOte the leaf growth. (2) GA atents of differen densities increase theascumulated vaiue of haZel's net phOtOsynthesis rate, and the infiuence on the qUanity of maleinflorescence Per tree is ndmely remarkale, but tha on the female is not obvious. Thisadvocates that GA can evidently promote the male infiorescence in the areeleration of buddifferentiation. The influences of 6-BA beAnentS of different densities on the hazel's fiotphotosynthsis rate, blossom and fiuit didn't reach the remarkale level. This may be causedby improper densities. The PP333 treatInents of different dOsage can heighten the phOtosynthesis, obviously hold back the heigh growth of young tips, and increase the wideness of yoUng tiPs.They can remarkably promote the qUantity of the male blossom Per tr6e and nut ratio, but havno reNle influene on the female and nu ratio. (3)The conten of the laIge-qUanityelements of N and P as well as the bee element of B in Ihe soil has remarkale influence onthe hazelnuts' plumpness, and has POsitive interrelation with it. ApPlying borax to the soilremarkaly decnaes the emPty-llU ratio, can increase the male and female blossom, nuts andnu ratio, and can decrease the emPty nuts; besides, this can raise nut weigh and the content ofN and Prodin in llch. (4)Hazel can't fruit unless it be pollinated. ItS fruiting isn't iIifluencedby imProPer Nment or the non-simultaneous florescence of the males and females. ButanalyZed from relative values, differen POllinaion still gives impethe tO hazel hoiting. Thepollen of hazels can genninat natuIally, but later itS POllen tUbes StOp growing, the malegametOphyte in the tube withers gIadually then in the end the tUbe dies. In addition, a greatpart of styles dried uP and died befOre fenilboon. All these may be the reason why thehaZelnuts are shll emPty though POllinated.
