But the huge heating cost of greenhouse in winter brings the heaVy economicburden to producer and slows down the development speed of greeIthouse industry so it is veryurgent to enhance energy-saving techniques in greenhouse..l .There is lots of heat lost through the gutter in greenhouse, but no one has ever pay attentionto the gutter heat preservation. So the experiment will be the first time to research the heatconduction mechanism and to teSt the heat preservation techniques of the gutter in multi-spangreenhouse, to measure the temperature, humidity and illumination in the greenhouse, to found thetemperatllre mathematical model in order to find the best means tO decrease the heat lost.2.PolyUrethane and Polyethylene are the popular heat preservation material, which have lowconduction coefficient. They can save energy effectively. Moreovef, PoIyurethane andPolyethylene have become the important branch of energy saving research in greenhouse sincethey are cheap and can be operated easily3.A mathematical model is devised of heat environment in greenhouse based on energybalance principles with the use of effective radiation method. With this model, all components ofheat losses in greenhouse are calculated, incIuding radiation, convection, conduction andinfiltration of cool air. The energy conserving of the gUtter heat preservation is estimated bycomparing the total energy consumption in greeIthouse with and without the heat preservationmaterial.4.Also, this thesis analyzed the practical energy saving efficiency of gUtter heat preservationand its influence on plants' environment by experiments in real greenhouse. And the experimentresult was used to test the mathematical model. The temperature in greenhouse improve 1 .997'Con average and the energy-saving efficiency reach 9.3% after the gnders heat preservation.Polyurethane and Polyethylene will be used more wideIy on gutter in greenhouses for theirhigh efficiency and economy.
