Seeding soaking with different concentration of uniconazole on three maize cutivars,determine the germinant situation and seedling quality of maize, the content of soluble surgurs ,soluble protein and Chi ,the leaf aera index and special leaf weight of maize leaf during growth stage .As well as determined the relative conductivity ,the activities of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase, the content of MDA and praline . the results are as follows:Uniconazole distinctly refrains the germinant energy of maize through the seed soaking ,but it does not affect the germinant percentage .Uniconazole has the effect of strengthening the seedling quality, manifest:inhibits the seedling height,adds seedling diameter, hastens the growth of root. During growth stage , uniconazole increase the content of Chi ,soluble sugur and soluble protein ,leaf area index and special leaf weights are araised.
