Different ratio of NPK fertilizer application technique was used in this research to study its effect on the objective properties of different early forage rice varieties, after the studying, the optimum ratio can be used as a reference and also can be used to further improve the technique in theory, at the same time, the probability of high yield and high protein content in the grain through cultivation technique was also studied. The above mentioned objective properties include grain yield, grain protein content of two tested rice varieties, one being hybrid rice, one being conventional rice variety. The conclusions were:1. Optimumized fertilizer application program was based on the established mathematical model the function of yield to the ratio on Xiang-zao-xian 24 and Ba-Liang-You-96 rice varieies was obtained through three orthogonal districts of orthogonal rotation combination the tested results also showed the effectiveness of this model, so, based on the model, the maximum yield and profit fertilizer application technique on the two tested rice varieties was at the ratio of N:P205:K20 equal to 1:0.6:0.7; the maximum yield and profit of Xiang-Zao-Xian 24 was 9534. 39kg/hm2 and 5804.1 RMB yuan/hm2 respectively, but on Ba-Liang-You-96 was 10711. 83kg/hm2 and 6655.7 RMB yuan/hm2. Under the condition of this study, the positive effect of linear item of three kinds of fertilizers on the two rice varieties was potassium chloride bigger than calcium super phosphate, and calcium super phosphate bigger than Urea, the negative effect of quadratic item was Urea bigger than potassium chloride, and potassium chloride bigger than calcium super phosphate. That is to say, the yield increasing effect before realizing maximum yield was Urea>potassium chloride>calsium super phosphate in sequence, but after maximum yield, the yield decreasing effect was Urea>potussium chloride>calcium super phosphate.2. Relationship of agronomy characteristics and yield: Xiang-Zao-Xian 24 was short and no remarkable positive correlation between yield and plant height, and also with panicle length, 1000-grain weight, grains per panicle, seed-setting rate, etc. But no remarkable negative correlation with effective panicles. Ba-Liang-You 96's plant height was not remarkably negative correlated with effective panicle, grains per panicle, seed-setting rate and yield. 1000-grain weight was determined by variety and was not remarkably correlated with, yield. The yield of both varieties varied in different districts, district 4 was the highest and district 8 was the lowest in theory and practical yield.3. Tillering difference, both varieties tillered lately and it was slow at the beginning, quick at the middle term, maximum tillering stage was on June 5. Effective tillering was finished between May 15 and May 18 for Xiang-Zao-Xian 24, but for Ba-Liang-You 96 was from May 18 to May 21. Effective panicle rate was Ba-Liang-You 96 larger than Xiang-Zao-Xian 24.4. Dry matter accumulation and LAI: There was no obvious difference among different plots. Booting initiation stage, dry matter accumulation was larger for the more stemmed and dry matter was mainly increased at the late booting stage.5. The effect of fertilizer on protein content, under this condition, the effect of fertilizer on protein content before maximum content was Urea>calcium super phosphate>potassium chloride, but after maximum content, the decreasing effect was calcium super phosphate>Urea>potassium chloride. For Ba-Liang-You 96, the decreasing effect was Urea>calcium super phosphate > potassium chloride.6. The high yield and protein content fertilizer application method was N 300kg/hm2, P205 177kg/hm2, K20 207kg/hm2, so the yield of 9534. 39kg/hm2 and 13.807% protein content can be obtained, and optimum profit was 5804.1 RMB yuan/hm2.7. For Xiang-Zao-Xian 24, N'PK ration at district 4 can obtain high yield as well as high protein content, that is to say, 9099kg/hm2 yield and 13. 05% protein content, the ratio of N:P205:K20 was 1:0.6:0.7. But for Ba-Lia...
