Applying different intensity of high voltage electrosatic field (HVEF) treated eggplant seeds. The morphic, physiological and biochemical index were measured. The result showed that eggplant seeds were sorted by HVEF. The dosage of HVEF were divided into two kinds: 308kv/m*â… sector was beneficial to germination ;256kv/m*â…¡sector was beneficial to seedling growth and increasing of physiological activity. The 256kv/m*â… sector was suggested to use in production. There were the significance effects in reducing electrolyte exosmosis rate. At the same time, there were different effects on the content of chlorophyll and reducing sugar and the activity of superoxide dismutase and root system. There were positive correlation between and the content of chlorophyll, reducing sugar and the activity of root system; but there was negative correlation between the weight of eggplant seeds treated by HVEF and the SOD activity.
