The low temperature is an important factor which affects the high yield and quality of rice. Cytokinin plays a significant role in regulating the cold resistance of rice. We attempt to study the low temperature and 6-BA signal transduction by systemic zymogram analysis .The rice research team of our university introduce the super rice(liang you pel jiu)from the hybrid rice research center of hunan province .This variety has the high quality and yield. We attempt to evaluate its cold resistance capability by studying the changes of isozymes. Furthermore ,We hope to apply the method m0re accurately to evaluate the resistance capability of crops. The main results and conclusions are shown as following:1. The changes of ACP isozyme directly correlate with the enhancement of cold resistance capability that caused by low temperature and 6-BA. The tolerant variety(su gen nuo) produces a special isozyme band(A)whether treated with 6-BA or not in low teperature.The sensitive variety( 1954) does not produce special band, only increasing the activity of band B after low teperature treatment.But comparing the sample treated with 6-BA with the one that is not ,6-BA further increases the activity of band B under cold condition. The super rice(liang you pei jiu) produces a special isozyme band(B) and increases the activity of band A whether treated with 6-BA or not in low teperature.The above results probably indicate that ACP isozyme participates in the phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of cold and 6-BA signal transduction2. The changes of CAT isozyme directly correlate with the enhancement of cold resistance capability that caused by low temperature and 6-BA. The tolerant variety(su gen nuo)produces a special isozyme band(D) in root and a special band( c) in leaf and increases the activity of band C in root whether treated with 6-BA or not in low teperature. The sensitive variety(1954)produces a special band(C)in root and a special band(c)in leaf. But comparing the sample treated with 6-BA with the one that is not ,6-BA not only furtherincreases the activity of band C but also produces a special band(D)in root after being treated with low temperature for 3 days.Moreover the activity of band C increased along with the time of low temperature treatment. The super rice(liang you pei jiu) increases the activity of band C in root whether treated with 6-BA or not in low teperature condition. The changes are probably part of the reasons that cause low temperature and 6-BA to induce the enhancement of cold resistance capability.3. SOD isozyme band is stable which indicates that low teperature and 6-BA do not affect the isozyme in the experiment.lt is presumed that low teperature and 6-BA enhance the cold resistance capability through increasing the stabilization of SOD isozyme.4. The changes of MDH isozyme directly correlate with the enhancement of cold resistance capability that caused by low temperature and 6-BA. The tolerant variety(su gen nuo) produces a special isozyme band( b) in leaf and increases the activity of band( A,B,C)in root whether treated with 6-BA or not in low teperature. The sensitive variety(1954)decreases the activity of band B . But comparing the sample treated with 6-BA with the one that isnot ,6-BA not only maintains the activity of band B but also produces a special band G in root after low temperature treatment. The super rice(liang you pei jiu) decreases the activity of band B in root and produces a special isozyme band G in root. But comparing the sample treated with 6-BA with the one that is not ,6-BA not only produces a special band(G)in root but also further increases the activity of band G after low temperature treatment. At the same time 6-BA maintains the activity of band B. The changes are probably part of the reasons that cause the low temperature and 6-BA to induce the enhancement of cold resistance capability.5. 6-BA does not affect the isozyme of rice under normal condition but it can affect the isozyme under cold condition.lt is presumed t...
