In this paper, the author analyzed the theoretical and experimental performance on the working principle of the Rice Precision Suction Seeder (RPS S). By the analysis of airflow, the mathematical force model of seed in front of nozzle was established, the picking-up condition of nozzle was given, and the relation among several influential factors obtained under the condition of critical state. Moreover, by the analysis of vibration of nursery tray and movement of mechanism, the author educed the moving state of seeds which in the nursery tray, before or after picked up. basis on this the author obtained the varied curve of moving parameter. By the means of theoretical analysis, experimental tests carried out to measure the effects of several factors, by the meantime, according to the experimental data, the better level of veral variables, their better combination and the varied curves of performance index were acquired. For cross bred rice, the performance of this seeder is satisfying with high rate of single seed.
