| Dalian Shenkong (international) Hunting Club range lies in Bohai Sea water, west edge of Liaodong peninsula and western extremity of Changxing Island. The exact geography location is at 121 39 E and 390 34 N. Administrative district belongs to Wafangdian city of Dalian The area is 25km2. making up 10% of total area of Changxing Island. The main topography of hunting range is hills. It is surrounded by sea in south, west and north. The coastline length is approximately 40km. And in the east lies a 10,000-metre-long wall, which starts from north-east coastline then runs across Beila Mountain, Tashan Mountain and Hengshan Mountain and finally reaches south-east coastline. Obviously the wall separate the club from other area of Changxing Island. So the hunting club becomes a completely Confining region. Through on-the-spot investigation and document consultation, the following climate data were obtained. Annual average temperature is 10.1 00; the minimum temperature is ?1 .1 00; the maximum temperature is 34.4 0; free-frost period is 175-1 85d; annual precipitation is 650- 750mm and the average is 671.1mm. So the climate type of the club appertain to warm temperate monsoon climate. There are six main vegetation formation: Form Pinus tabulaeformis, Form Quercus mongolica, From Quercus liaotungensis,From Sriraea chinensis, Form prunus armeniaca Var. Ansu, From Jtex negundo Var. Heterophylla Zizyphus jujuba,Themeda triandra Var. Japonica, which belong to three vegetation type group respectively, coniferous forest, broadleaf forest, shrubs and shrub meadow. The main soil type is bruni solic forest soil, alfisol drab soil and drab-pale-meadow soil. There are seven streams whose runoff is small. The base-flow is rich and shallow. The indices of water quality~ toxicology~ hygienic are fairly well. In the past, the number and species of wildlife that can be hunted was larger than now. Only the beasts included 5 orders, 13 families, 23 genera and 28 species. But recently because of not well management, especially seriously damaged wildlife habitat and excessively hunting, the bigger game becomes extinction. Now there exists only several species such as phasianzss colchicu.s L. lepus mandschuricus, Sciurus vulgaris etc.. Furtherly, the number of Iepus mandschuricus, Sciurus vulgaris, pha.sianus colchicus L. and Alectoris chukar J.E.Gray is investigated, through basic route method, spatial distribution pattern, line transect method . The existing number is 3283 .5-2590.5, 5826, 885.2 and 2038 respectively. As a result of resource assessment, the superiority of main resource in hunting range is the 7 following aspects: good site condition and prefect infrastructures which can attract home and foreign tourist and enthusiast, well-developed vegetation which can provide ample food for wildlife, abundant wildlife resource and completely confining region which are favorable for hunting, plentiful fresh water resource which can meet the needs of wildlife, and distinct advantage of touring and recreation. On the basis of source investigation and assessment, the division and planning program is put forward. Three main parts were included in the program. As follows: 1.
