In order to investigate the effect of different row spacing and density on the accumulation of spring wheat per plant stem and sheath, the high-density and low-density type cultivar, Kehan 16 and Longmai 26, was sown in 2013 growing season, with two row spacing(10 and 15 cm) and three planting densities of basic seedlings(600, 750 and 900×104 plants·hm-2), on six combining patterns totally. The biomass accumulation and yield components traits were analyzed between different row spacing and density of the individual plant traits after anthesis. The results indicated as follows:1. For Kehan 16, dry matter accumulation weight of the first to the third internode from ear in combination of 600×104 plants·hm-2 and 15 cm row spacing was highest. The individual plant stem and sheath dry matter accumulation was reducing with row spacing was widened. The weight of matter accumulation contribution to spike of the first internode from top was highest. The stem length was improved with row spacing was widened, and the combine of 900×104 plants·hm-2 and 15 cm row spacing was highest(73.73 cm). The density of spikelet in 900×104 plants·hm-2 and 15 cm row spacing was lowest, and the density of spikelet of the control and the combine of 900×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing were improved by 6.76% and 4.77% than that, respectively. The 1000-grain weight and yield in sowing combine of 900×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing was highest, and it improved 1000-grain weight and yield by 0.71% and 13.13% more than the control, respectively. The results indicated that increasing density and decreasing row spacing was of benefit to high yield. The test in sowing combine of 900×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing was optimum cultivation patterns.2. For Longmai 26, dry matter accumulation weight of the first to the forth internode from ear in combination of the control was highest, and it improved dry matter accumulation weight by 1.04% more than the combine of 600×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing. The weight of matter accumulation contribution to spike of the first internode from top was highest. The density of spikelet in 750×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing was highest, and it improved the density of spikelet by 3.61% and 8.96% more than the combine of 600×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing and the control, respectively. The kernels per spike, 1000-grain weight and yield in sowing combine of 600×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing was highest, and it improved kernels per spike, 1000-grain weight and yield by 29.01%, 0.82% and 23.80% more than the control, respectively. The results indicated that lower density and decreasing row spacing was of benefit to high yield. The test in sowing combine of 600×104 plants·hm-2 and 10 cm row spacing was optimum cultivation patterns.
