Effect Of Astragalus Moxibrasaccharides On Immune Function In Normal Mice

[Objective] To investigate the effect of astragalus polysaccharides(APS)on immune function of the Normal mice.[Methods]Dividing280Kunming mice to7batch and feed them. Dividing40Kunming mice (half male and half female) to4group at random every time. The first group was the control group, it was treated by infusing the stomach with0.4mL normal saline. The other groups were treated by infusing the stomach with APS,(0.4mL,400mg/kg,600mg/kg,800mg/kg,respectively)for7days.Then to detect the index of thymus, index of spleen, liveweight gain, the conversion rate of T and B Lymphocytes of Peripheral Blood, the content of haemolytic in serum, the test of macrophage phagocytic function,the activity of NK cell, the activity of Lysozyme in serum, the activity of ACP.[Result] All of fluency indices in the second group were higher than that of the control group(p<0.01or p<0.05).Part of fluency indices in the third group were higher than that of the control group (p<0.05). Part of fluency indices in the forth group were lower than that of the control group (p<0.05) P<0.05),and some of of fluency indices in the forth group had no difference with that of the control group.[Conclusion] AHPS (400mg/kg) could improve the immune function of the Normal mice, and promote the body development. AHPS (400mg/kg) could improve the specific immune functions of the Normal mice. AHPS (400mg/kg、600mg/kg) could improve the non-specific immune functions of the Normal mice. AHPS (800mg/kg) could inhibite the immune function of the Normal mice. The effect of astragalus polysaccharides(APS)on immune function of the Normal mice was the dose-dependent moderating effect. AHPS could improve the immune function of the Normal mice at lower dose; AHPS could inhibite the immune function of the Normal mice at higher dose.
