With the development of urbanization, the construction of modern country, the repair and reconstruction of ancient city, the construction waste has raised to about 40% of urban solid waste, and it increasing fastly. The study on recycling and reusing of building waste in our country develops rapidly in the last years, there are a large number of national and local legislation and code have been put out. Research institutes, universities, companies devote energy to the research of construction waste, such as experimental research, establish recycling and reproducting product line, develop new recycled products, work out production standard and code of recycled aggregate, construction experimental projects using it.Producing recycled solid brick can solve the problem of the application of fine recycled aggregate, but we need to disvover its feasibility and reliability.This project is aimed at the above mentioned purpose, study on the properties of materials, mix proportion, process, curing institution and the properties of recycled brick. There are three main parts:(1) Laboratory study-analysis the impact of the maximum diameter, Gradation, finer particle content ,moisture of fine recycled aggregate water cement ratio, cement aggregate ratio, mineral admixture, cement cartage, process and curing system on the strength of recycled brick. According to the experimental result, optimizing the mix proportion and analysis the durability, masonry mechanics, wall insulation of optimization recycled bricks. Analyse the porosity of recycled brick. (2) Product line study-test and verify the laboratory optimization mix proportion, and discuss the impact of process and curing system on recycled brick.(3) Efficiency analysis and try to develop the process of producting.The experiments showed that the properties of recycled aggregate, mix proportion, process and curing system have some impact on the strength of recycled brick, and the laboratory result is in accord with the product line. With mix optimization and the improvement of process and curing system, the recycled brick satisfied the strength demand of MU10. It also has good.durability such of freeze-thaw resistance, carbonation resistance and water resistance. The compressive strength and shear strength of recycled brick masonry also agree with the standard regulation. The recycled brick wall has good heat preservation and its heat transfer coefficient lower than shale brick. Above all, producing and applying recycled brick is a project with huge economy efficiency, profound and lasting social efficiency and a wide range of ecology efficiency.
