| This paper studies on analyzing a kind brushless DC motor with drum which is used on treadmill. This brushless motor using roller structure, within the stator windings and external permanent magnet rotor structure. For this drum structure is different from the general ones.The structural features of these motors with great ratio between length and diameter, make cooling conditions is different from the general ones. So it is nessery to research the temperature on the process of motor running in order to avoid over heating motor wingding temperature rise caused excessive damageand affect the motor normal operation.Using soldwork softwore to establish three-dimensiond model of the brusheless motor.By using of COSMOSEMS finite element analysis softwore, the temperature of brushless DC motor was studied.This article study with the structure of the system of the brushless DC motor, briefly descripted the operating principle of brushless motor and the process of the current change. And established a mathematical model of BLDCM.Based on this modle, the total flux and maximum flux density of this DC motor were simulated by computer. And then calculate the loss of DC motor. Take this as a heat load for the thermal analysis of brushess of DC motor. In the process of an analysising the thermal of DC motor, considering the impact of electrical condition and conrection to temperature rise. Thermal boundary conditions and the load of the various components; and then get the transient and steady-state of temperature distribution for different working conditions, the temperature curve and the state time for temperature change. According to the temperature distribution, several ways to improve the thermal conditions are discussed and validated, so the work is full of significance for design and optimize the of the motor. |
