The radial-plunger pump, with the advantages of high nominal working pressure,easy to variables, vast range of flow, compact conformation, high volumetric efficiencyand convenient flow regulating, is widely used in the high-pressure hydraulic systemssuch as mining-machinery, chemical-machinery, metallurgy-machinery, etc. The PID,fuzzy-PID, expert-PID and so on are selected as most hydraulic control systems'basicPID control methods at present, but different control systems need different controlstrategies. Therefore, choosing a suitable control algorithm plays an important role inbuilding radial piston pump electro-hydraulic proportional control system.The paper chooses neural network PID control algorithm as the basic control methodof simulation of control systems of radial piston pump electro-hydraulic proportionalcontrol system. The schematic diagram of radial piston pump electro-hydraulicproportional control system and a corresponding valve mathematical model was foundfrom the pressure and flow. The control structures, forward algorithm, back-propagationalgorithm and the methods of selecting weight value of neural network PID controlalgorithm was studied, and the mathematical model of radial piston pumpelectro-hydraulic proportional control system was integrated into it. The correspondingcontrol program simulated the process of radial piston pump electro-hydraulicproportional control system were written in MATLAB, and make the correspondinganalysis and comparison.Through analyzing the simulation experiment, I have compared radial piston pumpelectro-hydraulic proportional control system using neural network PID control algorithmwith using the traditional PID control method. Results show by using neural network PID control algorithm, the stability of system and the anti-jamming ability of external load isgreatly improved steady-state error is reduced; but in respect of dynamic property ,response time is lengthen, the overshoot and the time of overshoot are reduced.Therefore, I came to the conclusion that radial piston pump variable control systemperformance using neural network PID control algorithm is better than which usingtraditional PID control method.
