Preliminary Analysis Of The Soundlandscape Design Garden

The acceleration of urbanization in our country for the past few years has promoted the development of horticulture industry, so a lot of fund was invested to construct landscape and green land to enrich people's spiritual life. But for a very long time being, much emphasis was laid on the visual element in the landscape design, ignoring the sound, as a very important compenets of the soundscape in green environment, thus ignoring people's hearing requirement. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the development of the soundscape, in the attempt to introduce some reasonable advices and improvement measurement, with the hope to develop the soundscape soundly.Firstly, by introduction of the general development of modern gardening design, this thesis leads to the source of soundscape, stating the importance of sound elements in garden environment, to complete gardening design by introducing the sound elements, to analyse and induce the concept, compenet and feature of soundscape. Secondly, this paper addresses the current situation of the sondscape, stating the designing methods, principles and hierarchy. Last but not least, by the practical research of several different types of garden land in Nanjing, working out the universal soundscape in the garden environment. By the research, it was found that natural sound like sound of water and bird are very popular, so much importance should be attached to the natural sound when plan and design the soundscape. On the basis of practical research, the author addresses the existing problems in the designing of soundscape and presents some solutions on the basis of the analysis and research.Soundscape is very important in garden landscape, bring which into the garden landscape not only provides new content for the development and research of garden landscape, widens the viewing angle and enriches the designing method, but also meets people's functional requirements in garden landscape, carries out the principle of"people oriented", promotes the interrelation and harmonious development between people and environment also people and society.
