Due to the characteristics and the advantage of VP,in order to eliminate abnormity wear of tires, the paper eloborates kinematics, dynamics analysis and optimization methods of dual-front-axle steering system. On the base of the wheel movement relationship, steering trapezia space movement formula and double-swing-arm space movement formula are fetched in this paper. And then, the mathematical model is established in MATLAB and VP model is established in ADAMS. Through getting steering performance curve, the feasibility of the virtual model is verifyied in this paper. According to the established virtual model, we analyze the kinematics and dynamics capability of steering system of the dual-front-axle heavy truck as well as the check of its intervene movement. Finally, parametric design of double-front-axle steering vehicle system was done. A reasonable optimization program for the optimize and design of vehicle is proposed in this paper.
