The electric box furnace is widely used in laboratories and is used for producting small pieces of the production. It has become the preferred firing for its small investment and its flexibility. As electronic ceramics and contemporary fine ceramics are very sensitive to the temperature,thus,in order to better meet the user's meed for the precision of the temperature,we need to take an in-depth study of the entire production process and adopt pertinent measures to control it. Therefore, it is very necessary to make an analysis of the temperature distribution in the traditional electric box furnace.This paper analyses and simulates the temperature distribution in the electric box furnace on the basis of the principle of thermal radiation by the way of Thermal Heat Balance. The energy absorbed by the heated materials is calculated based on the radiation intensity law. Besides, the inside wall's impact on the heated materials is considered. Thus, a numerical model is constructed to calculate the energy absorbed by the heated materials and simulated by the computer. On the temperature control, a two-input single-output fuzzy controller is designed. The simulation results prove its effectiveness to meet the requirements of temperature control stability and control precision has been improved.
