With the increase of vehicle ownership, people are constantly enjoying the fast and convenient brought by car. Meanwhile, the automotive ride comfort is becoming the focus of current research. Because of its stiffness and damping can be adjusted to improve the ride comfort when driving cars, air suspension have a good effect. Foreign automobile companies have already used air-suspension system in their top-grade models, but the field is still in its infancy in China. So, there is much room for development.With the development of electronic technology and Control Technique of microcomputer, the study on automotive electronically controlled air suspension system has not only made remarkable achievements in theory, but also applied to the practical application of these vehicle suspensions. Based on these theses, it developed a DSP-based air suspension system controller in this article. The controller uses Texas Instruments (TI) 32-bit fixed-point chip of DSP TMS320F2812.First, according to vehicle dynamics equation, this paper built a vehicle model of 7 degrees of freedom, and used Matlab/Simulink as an pitch and roll simulation platform for the car in different conditions.The simulation analysis shows that the pitch and roll angles of the test vehicle without electronically controlled air suspension systemis not loaded before conditions for the development of air suspension controller logic provides a basis.Then the selection and function of the various components of air suspension system was described in detail, the electronic control unit was developed with microprocessor of DSP TMS320F2812. With the functions of real-time data signal acquisition and system control, control strategies of the shock absorber of the suspension were determined based on the data collected by sensor signals, to achieve the attitude control of the vehicle,make the automobile running smoothly.Following the design of hardware circuit based on the preparation of the corresponding software program. Software program using interrupt-based modular design method of data collection, data processing, according to automotive solenoid valve condition to send the appropriate control signal functions.Finally, the design of hardware and software systems for the real test verification, The test results showed that the designed control system has a good control results in line with expectations. Designed to verify the effectiveness of the air suspension control system.
