In this paper, the doubly salient permanent magnet wheel- hub motor is the research object. Firstly, based on reading lots of thesis on this domain, many analysis and comparisons between different kinds of electric vehicle with various characteristics have been done. A common sense about the development of motor vehicles is bulit. And the development of the applicaion of the doubly salient permanent magnet motor and the its control and implement method also have obtained.By analysing the structure of this motor and calculating the electromagnetic with the finite element analysis method, Magnetic plot and flux density plot of air gap under the diverse positons could be obtained, depending on these informations, the mathematical model and basic working principle of this motor has been designed, and the steady state characteristic of flux and induction. Following, the math expression and working status of the motor would be studied, and breakover order of each winding in the moter should be designed. Then a driving method is analysed.Because doubly salient permanent magnet motor has a good dynamic speed regulation ability.â… use double closed loop method which inclue speed loop and circuit loop to control the motor. Firstly, the impact exerted by the PID controllor to the stability of system should be ayalysed, and based on these, the advantages and disadvantages of the PID could be acquired.By the Matlab/Simulink, a model include the moter and its controllor could be built.By the simulation, the speed and the torque is not good enough, because the PI parameters during the PI control process are fixed. Depending on the fuzzy principle, we use the fuzzy PI self-adaptive control. Firstly, the error of the speed and the slope of the error are used as the inputs. The increament of paramters Kp and Ki are work as a controllor which regulate the parameters. All these have been complished in the Simulink.The results of the simulation are compared and analysed.At last, according to the differential problem of the electric vehicle,Electronic differential proposal is designed base on BP neural network and Analyze simulation results.
