Non-stop ETC system can identify the cars and get exchange for the toll data, based on Technology of AVI. It can do the Wireless Data Communication between toll and cars, process the toll data through the computer network. The greatest feature of the ETC system is that cars can pass through the toll gate with higher speed, never need to stop for fee. The ETC system increase the traffic capacity of roads and vehicle operating efficiency.In this paper, first, we did the analysis of the development of intelligent traffic situation at home and abroad, we make many comparisons between different technologies, and Select the more popular current ZigBee technology to achieve non-stop toll system. We Designed the highway toll collection system based on dynamic data acquisition and ZigBee wireless sensor networks.In this paper, ZigBee technology background, IEEE802.15.4 standard and the ZigBee protocol stack architecture are discussed; the author mastered the technological advantages of ZigBee and takes it as the core technology of WSN. Basic ideas to design every part of hardware platform system and the necessity and feasibility are analyzed. The specific circuit modules are designed, based on CC24300 wireless module, the hardware platform of WSN is realized.And we studied the current wireless location method, then analyzed benefits and disadvantages of current typical location systems and their using conditionings. Then, ZigBee technology based on the IEEE802.15.4 protocol is researched, analysis on its topological structure has been done, and we chose a tree topology adapt to our system. Analysis based on costs, precisions and probabilities has been done, RSSI-based measurements and trilateration method were chosen for this system. Besides, we improved localization algorithm to improve the positioning precision, which present a higher precision.
