Study On Diesel Engine Fuel Oil Consumption Examination Experimental Based On Carbon Balance Method

To enhance vehicle's fuel economy, it is essential to take the correct measurement of fuel consumption as the premise. Our country has made some progresses to the fuel consumption's survey research, but in the holoscopic world the main developed country's oil consumption measuring technique is mainly the carbon balance method, and the fuel consumption computation formula has been involved in the standard. The practice proved that with the carbon balance method the vehicle's fuel consumption fast examination system surveys vehicle's engine fuel consumption, can reduce the examination time, reduce the harm to vehicles and raises vehicles'examination speed.The most obvious difference between diesel engine's and gasoline engine's exhaust component is, the diesel engine exhaust includes the great proportion particles (i.e. emissions smog). But in various countries'carbon balance diesel engine oil consumption computation model, the carbon's existence in the smog had not been considered, that will certainly affect the computed result, therefore the diesel engine oil consumption formula should be revised.This article has first inferred based on the carbon balance the gasoline vehicle's and the diesel vehicle's fuel consumption examination fundamental model. Considered influence of the carbon smoke to the diesel engine, the fundamental model's foundation has been revised, and based on the carbon balance method the diesel vehicle'fuel consumption examination computation model is obtained. Because this research aims at diesel engine's fuel consumption examination experimental study, therefore take the above computation model as the foundation, through the formula conversion, at last the diesel engine's fuel consumption computation model is obtained.Through the diesel engine bench test, the data based on the carbon balance method to compute diesel engine's fuel consumption is obtained, thus the carbon balance method diesel engine fuel consumption predicted value is calculated, then the value is analysed. And the volumetric method is used to measure the fuel consumption, to confirm the exactitude of the computed fuel consumption. At last it is obtained that this research which based on the carbon balance method about diesel engine fuel consumption computation model has its usability, and it is able to satisfy the need of diesel engine not disintegrated fuel consumption examination.
