| When an automobile run through the road and bridge connection, the driver will have a feeling of the automobile jump suddenly, this phenomenon not only damages the road, but the quality of the vehicle is also greatly affected. When this phenomenon appears, the impact of the automobile at Road and Bridge connection will cause steering wheel out of control and traffic accidents. Therefore, It will be must study the steering system handling and stability of vehicle.This article describes development and trends of the vehicle dynamic model and introduces the theory for dynamics of multi-body systems and Virtual prototyping technology.Based on the actual vehicle parameters the article established the model of vehicle dynamics. The model includes the vehicle steering linkage model, steering gear model, steering control mechanism model, the wheels and the road model. By use of automatic Dynamic Analysis software adams the thesis get the curve of the steering system's performance and the force of the pitman arm and ball stud at different simulation condition. The simulation results indicate that the vehicle steering performance change with the change of the speed and road conditions.According to the result of dynamic simulation, the thesis analyze the pitman arm and ball stud by use of ansys of the finite element analysis software.The results verify whether if the strength of the pitman arm and ball stud can meet the requirements under the condition. |
