Multiply functional ditcher is a high effective equipment which contains ditching, digging and filling parts. The ditcher offen works under difficult cinditions and so it demands the ditcher must have good adaptability and reliability. Therefore we must obey strict rules in the designing ditcher. And it is very important to have a mechanics study with ditcher. Based on the analysis of the characteristic of the dummy machine, facing the shortcoming of the available hydraulic ditcher, this paper introduces the dummy machine technology to this ditcher design field. And this paper individually establishes the ditching, digging and backfilling dummy machine of the ditcher. And also this paper adds hydraulic system to them, with which the dummy machine run just like the real machine. Finally this paper presents systematic analysis and investigation of the mechanics imitation. This paper mostly concludes several parts below.Analyze the principle and characteristic of the ditching, digging and backfilling. According to the real structure, this paper presents the physical model that is fit to mechanics imitating.Adopting the software SolidWorks, this paper establishes the models of ditching, digging and backfilling. And also transmits them to the software ADAMS.Under the environment of ADAMS, define mass and moment of inertia, bring restriction between all parts to bear to establish the subschema dummy machine. Then making use of the ADAMS/Hydraulic subschema to establish the hydraulic system of this machine. By execute component, you can relate the hydraulic system with the mechanical model. Then carry through multiply rigid body mechanics imitation. So the important parameters of the working process are available. By the analyzing the result, this paper educes the stress distributing and the distortion. In addition, this paper improves on the hydraulic system by this method. The improve system commendably avoids the shortcoming, for example, impulsion, surging, odds stress and so on.Finally, applied the simulation result which can be available from ADAMS to the cylinder and make a lineate analysis. So we can see the distributing situation of stress and strain.The research in this paper provides some valuable conclusions and simulation approach for the design and experiment of the hydraulic system of ditcher. Besides, the idea and the method used by the paper, which synthetically make use of three-dimension design software(SolidWorks) , multi-body Dynamics Simulation Analysis Software (ADAMS) to solve problem, can use for reference to similar study.
