Pile-anchors retaining wall is a form of supporting structure which is widely used in soil slope , with the continuous expansion of the scale of construction and engineering complexity increased,control technology requirements on the slope and the slope project cost is also rising, so we should promote optimal design, seeking a safe, economical and practical programs to reduce costs and improve its economic efficiency.This article first introduces several common types of slope retaining,described the basic structure of piles anchored retaining wall. At the same time explains the basic principles of genetic algorithms and the basic steps, indicating the current major application fields of genetic algorithms. Then introduce the design and calculation theory of pile-anchor retaining wall, introducting a new formula for earth pressure——soil pressure formula of Planter sliding surface .For the design of single-and multi-pivot pivot bolt pile retaining wall we can use equivalent beam method, continuous beam method and elastic foundation finite element method to calculate the internal force. Second, the conventional designs of piles-anchor retaining wall are complexity, and difficult to obtain safe, reliable, economical and rational design, so we propose the optimization method of pile retaining wall anchor which is based on genetic algorithm , based on the basic principle of genetic algorithm we establish a optimization mathematical model for two-point row pile retaining wall anchor, to the comprehensive cost of per meter wall as the target function and the strength and structural requirements of pile-anchor wall as constraint constructions.Finally, through the MATLAB language program develop the calculation program for Planter sliding surface soil pressure, and use MATLAB genetic algorithm toolbox implemented the optimization design of pile anchor retaining wall based on the genetic algorithm.Approved by the leading case, the optimization design of pile-anchors retaining wall based on the genetic algorithm can solve the traditional optimization into a local solution of the problem, not only to intelligent optimization the design variables, but also can get safe, reliable, economical and reasonable design, thus has a certain significance for optimal design of the whole supporting structure.
