Mode Of Feature-based Protection And Utilization Of The Distinctive Village

Nowadays, with the integration of urban and rural areas, as well as the rapid development of urbanization, the protection and utilization of distinctive villages have become the top priority in current cultural heritage rescue work. It is a challenging task to solve problems concerning distinctive villages which exist in social development, and to explore a more realistic, feasible and promising pattern of protection and utilization. This has great theoretical and practical significance for the protection and utilization of distinctive villages, the new rural construction, and the integration of urban and rural areas. Based on theoretical and empirical analysis, this thesis elaborates related concepts of the protection and utilization of distinctive villages and discusses problems existed. Thus the pattern construction and the constructive elements of the protection and utilization of distinctive villages are raised. In addition, this thesis takes Po in Shan Dong province as an example, pointing out problems in the process of its protection and utilization through on-the-spot investigation; and give further discussion of the choice of protection and utilization pattern.Through the analysis of related concepts, this thesis summarizes the particularity of distinctive villages and concrete forms of their culture and landscape, and expounds main body of resources of the protection and utilization of distinctive villages, thus laying the foundation for researching on the pattern of it; Besides, from the following four aspects:the residential environment, the special research, the industry development and the management protection, this thesis also put forward eight problems both universal and typical in the protection and utilization of distinctive villages, and launches analysis to their roots. And it also proposes the influential factors and the mentality of the mode construction of protection and utilization; In addition, from the style pattern, view of public space, green remediation, this thesis researches the regulation and characteristics of village construction mode, and then introduces a systematic research of the protection and utilization of distinctive villages from three aspects-- village landscape, space arrangement and management&operation.At last, thorough field study of Po--the ancient villages in Ming and Qing dynasties, this thesis analyses problems existing in its protection and utilization, as well as the applicability of the protection and utilization mode from the aspects of financing, planning and coordinating interests; finally it chooses the proper pattern for Po from the view of space layout, classification and management style, which also verifies the new constructing mode in this practical project.
