The construction process of long-span prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge was rather complicated. Construction method and install method not only influence the structural stresses when installed, but also determines final main cable shape and internal force. So it is necessary to execute a construction monitoring effectively to ensure the structural safety, successful closure of a span and the ideal alignment of superstructure during and after erection of the bridge.The paper explores the main principles and methods of segmental construction monitoring, analyses the content and the method of the construction monitoring of the prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge. Simulation Analysis model was created by using specific analysis software named MIDAS/CIVIL based on shrinkage and creep secondary of high strength concrete at that time. Results of simulation analysis of deformation and Stress in construction process are given by calculate the displacement and internal force.According to modern general theoretical knowledge of predictive control, Building on-the-spot construction monitoring system. Analyse the influencing factors on construction monitoring by monitoring Stress (Strain) of the structure, and propound corresponding Pre-control measures to guide the construction legitimately.
