Study On The Medicine Plant In Guangxi Province And Its Application

Medicine plant refers to a whole or part of a plant or its physiological and pathological products which can prevent or cure diseases and be beneficial to humans both physically and mentally.Many species have high visual values and it is often grown as medical economic plant but less applied in landscape architecture or highlights its contents of medicine culture. Currently the most common medicine plant theme landscape in China is the special medicine plant landscape in botanical garden. With the popularity of health philosophy and the rising of traditional Chinese medicine culture, people pay more attention to the methods of natural health and are interested in medical regimen and health-related things. It is a meaningful topic that is worth studying in terms of enriching the varieties of garden and plants landscaping; enhancing the level of afforestation as well as promoting the traditional Chinese medicine culture and achieving the health care function.This thesis is mainly to :1. Find out some medicine plants that are suitable for application in landscape by field researches and literature reviews to the germplasm resources of medicine plant; classify and summarize them according to landscape application properties; Provide materials for medicine plant application in landscape.2. Summarize the features and shortcomings of medicine plant theme landscape through investigating and analyzing the current situation of medicine plant theme landscape. Meantime, combined with traditional Chinese medicine travel cases, it analyzes and summarizes the possible methods by which medicine plant could be applied in landscape architecture.3. Find out the possible means by which the medicine plant can be applied into landscape through the study of the history of foreign medicine plant landscaping and the current herbs and medical theme theory and practice.Theories about Fragrance therapy and gardening therapy are very helpful and have reference meaning for it.4. Provide some related design guidelines and suggestions for medicine plant theme landscape and briefly discuss the directions for further research.
