In the past decade or more, Synthetic fiber reinforced concrete played an increasingly important role in the modified concrete, In particular, polypropylene fibers are being concerned in the engineering sector because of its low cost and significantly capacity of improve the absorptive and flexural tensile strength of cement concrete, also of its significant effects in enhancing the wear resistance, impermeability and durability and so onPolypropylene fiber concrete is mixed in amount of polypropylene micro-fibers in the concrete, to improve the characteristics of brittle failure of concrete, reduce plastic shrinkage cracking of concrete and improve the toughness and impact resistance of concrete. This Paper launches a series of research work around this technology and achieves the following results and innovation:(1) this paper systematically analysis of polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete characteristics and micro working mechanism of fiber reinforced concrete based on domestic and international pilot research data; design specifications and related documents;(2) this paper analysis the affection by the incorporation of fiber into various properties of concrete, including cracking resistance, permeability resistance, impact resistance and flexural fatigue strength of the concrete and so on.(3) Through the experimental research, this paper analysis and evaluate the character of the compression splitting tensile, flexural(bending),impermeability and plastic shrinkage performance of concrete incorporation with the United States imported forta fiber, monofilament fiber and Chinese-made fiber. Then put forward technical requirements and incorporate recommendations of synthetic fiber concrete.(4) this paper test the application effectiveness of the research findings in actual projects of reinforced bridges with polypropylene fiber concrete.
