A Study On The Extension Program Of The Expressway

At present, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, expressway traffic also grew just as fast. The existing expressway can not adapt the traffic growth, some sections of the expressway capacity is not enough. In order to meet the needs of regional economic development and ensure the safety and smooth of transport within the region, the extension of expressway is necessary and urgent. There are two means to the expressway extension program:one is the extension of the existing expressway, and the other is the newly-built second passageway. This paper focuses on the key technologies of the extension of the existing expressway, while study the newly-built second passageway, except to provide a new way of thinking to the extension of expressway.This paper relies on the extension program of Xi'an to Tongchuan expressway. In two years, through the reconnaissance and the design of the extension program of Xi'an to Tongchuan expressway, describes the key technologies at all levels from decision-making to specific technical problems. Discussing how to use the existing expressway fully to reflect the design concept of safety, environmental protection, comfortable and harmonious. Except to provide references to the extension of expressway in the future.
